There are lots of things in this world that I want to be thick. My hair. My wallet. And a new reporter’s notebook where I can take travel notes.
Also falling into this category is yogurt. It used to be that yogurt was kind of watery and liquid, and almost soupy. Until now. The smart folks at Dannon Light & Fit have created a delicious THICK yogurt that is a delicious as its regular Light & Fit – but they have done it one better. They have created a thick Greek yogurt, in delicious flavors, which is only 80 calories a serving in 5.3 ounces. There’s a wealth of Greek yogurts in the supermarket aisle right now, but some of them are way too tart, and others have way too many calories. I love Dannon Light & Fit, and as Olivia Newton-John said to John Travolta in Grease, “You’re the one that I want!”
Cue the applause!
If you’re like me, you love to eat protein between meals. That’s because protein fills you up, and is much better for your system than refined carbs. Most people, when they are hungry, turn to snacks such as pretzels, rice cakes or crackers, but these selections, in my opinion, just leave you more hungry a half-hour later. I’m a health-obsessed travel writer and beauty writer, and I love to eat protein-packed snacks, and Dannon’s new Greek yogurt perfectly fills the bill. It fills you up but not out.
Made with absolutely no fat, Dannon’s Light & Fit comes in three flavors: Strawberry, Blueberry, Vanilla, and my all-time favorite, Cherry, which all contain real fruit pieces. Not only is it delicious and nutritious, it has twice the protein of regular lowfat yogurt.
When you are on the go, I strongly suggest you take this satisfying snack with you. When you easily fit into your skinniest jeans, you can thank Dannon Light & Fit.
